Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is a world-renowned academic medical center located in Boston, Massachusetts. BWH faced challenges in tracking clinical commitments and managing faculty data, including:
- A lack of a centralized system for tracking clinical commitments

- A lack of an effective tool for collaboration between administrative assistants and faculty
These challenges had a negative impact on the hospital’s efficiency and productivity, leading to inefficiencies and potential missed opportunities.
III. Solution
To address the challenges faced by Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), Ksense developed a comprehensive web application using the Knack platform in conjunction with client and server-side code. We also used Vue.js to build custom reports and tools. This application provides a solution for faculty management, scheduling, and reporting, including features such as:

IV. Results
The web application developed by Ksense for Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) has revolutionized faculty management at the hospital, significantly improving clinical hour management and increasing satisfaction among faculty members. Its use of a low-code platform also enabled Ksense to deliver the solution under budget, maximizing value for BWH. One key benefit of the app has been its ability to automate processes that were previously done manually in excel, such as running reports.
